Object of the course is to create trained teachers for primary education. These teachers are eligible for primary schools. Eligibility criteria for admission in D.El.Ed is 50% for General category and 45% for SC ST and for OBC candidates government may grant relaxation, otherwise it is 50% in HSC or equivalent examination.Admissions are given according to Government counselling and other reservation rules. Basically object of the course is to promote trained teachers for primary education system
